Learning Communities for Commuters!

The Commuter Learning Communities is one of the many ways commuter students can get connected and supported at UIC. Our 6 to 8 week peer mentoring program pairs new undergraduate transfer students with experienced commuter undergraduates during their first semester at UIC. Participants can expect social and academic events with other mentees and mentors. Email Gaeun Lee, Commuter Learning Community Coordinator, at glee94@uic.edu with any questions! The program capacity is on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are currently accepting applications for Spring 2026!
